Final Fantasy Tactics was a highly acclaimed game on the original PlayStation, but it was not as big of a seller as the other titles in the series. While Final Fantasy VII is the most famous game in the series, it has aged very poorly. In comparison, Final Fantasy Tactics is still as great. In 1997, Final Fantasy Series PlayStation Final Fantasy Tactics, the first strategic RPG, sold more than 24 million copies worldwide. Non-Extra Features Lines of Jobs for New Movies, Views and PSPs: The Game's Popularity In 2007, it was re-released Final Fantasy Tactics.
The Job Class system gives all playable characters access to 20 different Final Fantasy Tactics Job Classes, each having their own innate abilities and pros and cons. Most jobs have prerequisites before you can gain access to their classes, making it much more rewarding to unlock them. With more than 400 action, reaction, support, and movement abilities available, you can combine action skills with other abilities to produce limitless variations of the Job Classes.
The Job Classes are primarily based around two career hierarchies. Firstly, Squires represent the foundation for the warrior path and are the key to unlocking physically demanding jobs such as the Knight, Monk, Lancer, Ninja, and Samurai. Secondly, Chemists give you an opportunity to train in the magical arts. Regardless of the path you choose, more powerful classes are available for your characters as they work their way through the various hierarchies.
There are several ways to navigate job paths and train your characters, but no one way is better than the other. The Job Class system is designed to reward you regardless of whether you move your party slowly through the job hierarchies, mastering each as you go, or treat specific classes as a means to gain more powerful and complex professions. Spending significant time to reach the higher levels of the earlier Job Classes before moving on to the stronger ones gives you a better chance of starting later jobs such as the Samurai or Ninja at a higher level with more JP. In contrast, staying in a Job Class just enough to reach the level required by one of the stronger jobs gives you the ability to use their strengths earlier in the game.
Also, a character's gender has an impact on his/her basic stats. For example, female units generally have higher Magic Points (MP) and Magic Attack (MA) strength, while male units have better Hit Points (HP) and Physical Attack (AT) strength. The differences are not that noticeable (you could see 1 or 2 points difference when it comes to MA vs. Directx 14. AT strength, as well as from 5 to 20 HP and 2 to 5 MP difference). However, knowing this may entice you to train your female characters solely in the magic field and your male characters in the physical area. If you do this, it is important to note that you will not be able to reach the Dancer (female only) and Bard (male only) Job Classes, as they require you to train your characters both as magicians and soldiers.

You can cheat or something to modify sword skills to what you want. But honestly, they should have an MP Cost. It's part of the rebalance.
and. i see that, but anyway. is good to know about how modify something
i know too that your rebalance is necessary, but in the beggining i had some problems with the equipment of some enemies, and some of them have a really good damage, enough to kill some of my characters in 1 round ._.'
i'm not criticizing your work, i really enjoyed, but i don't know what to do

What emulator are you trying to play it on?
I was really looking forward to playing this hack but I have to say it was a huge disappointment. It was fun and challenging at the beginning but the level of difficulty eventually gets to the point of being absurd. I guess the biggest problem I have with 1.3 is just my personal preference when it comes to playing strategy games. I like to play through them in such a way that isn't 'cheap' and 'game breaking'. In 1.3 I was looking forward to being able to play through the game with a regular party of a couple fighters, some mages, and a healer. I got up to Zeakdon Fort and quit shortly after I realized the only way to win was to turn everyone into a black mage and spam mjollrn on Algus. Or maybe I could have turned everyone into a calculator by that time but that to me would have been just as reprehensible. This is not the way I want to play this game or any rpg for that matter.
And maybe that's just the way FFT is, modded or not. I think it's the only rpg I've played where leveling up actually hurts your chances of progressing. I thought about it a little then I remembered one of my favorite games, FF8, also has scaled enemies. but the difference is FF8 doesn't have scaled Boss Battles, which would be the equivalent of an FFT story battle. Some people may like this but to me it is extremely lame and broken. If I'm grinding and leveling up for 2 hours I like there to be some kind of reward for that, not for me to start pulling my hair out when I get into a story battle and archers are one hitting my team and enemies in general have 3x the amount of health I have simply because I haven't gotten through enough story battles to have gotten the appropriate stat raising gear. If everything is scaled, then what's the point of having a leveling system in the first place? Why not just have jp leveling? I wouldn't have minded that a bit, and 1.3 really seems to make this flaw stand out more than it should.
For some good rpg challenges that are still fun and can be beaten through hard work and good strategy, I recommend playing the FF7 hardtype hack or to play through FF6 Vanilla without level grinding. The original Japanese FF4 is also very fun and challenging.
.well, I have a problem though. The game refuses to get past Gafgarion's initial move in Orbonne Monastary fight.
I downloaded epsxe with all the patches and everything needed to run it. I downloaded this patch. I did the PPF O matic and made a merged file. Everything looks like it's in order, but I can't figure out what's wrong. Anyone willing to try to help me?
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times, and tried downloading a different version of FFT as well. No dice. Same problem every time.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I'm seriously looking forward to playing this so incredibly much. Thank you Mods for this amazing feat!
Any suggestions?
